Just saw the official WARN notice for the Jefferson location. Looks like 132 roles are on the chopping block effective March 31st. We all knew things were tight, but seeing the actual number hit the state portal makes it way too real. Management has been acting like everything is business as usual, but the atmosphere on the floor is pure anxiety. If you are in Jefferson, please start checking your email and connecting with peers. Don't wait for the 'town hall' that will probably just be a sanitized recording anyway. Does anyone have info on severance packages or if there’s a retention bonus for those of us sticking it out until the end of Q1? Stay safe everyone.

This is absolutely brutal news for the Jefferson team. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this round of layoffs. It’s infuriating how corporate management always tries to put on a brave face and act like operations are normal while people are literally losing their livelihoods. If you’re impacted, definitely reach out to your network immediately and don't rely on the sanitized messaging from HR or leadership. Take care of each other during this transition; the community here is definitely thinking of you all.

I've been watching the production numbers and the general market shift, so I suppose I’m not entirely shocked, but seeing the actual WARN notice still feels like a punch to the gut. The silence from leadership until the very last second is what gets me the most. They keep preaching transparency, but then they pull stunts like this right before the end of the quarter.
