WDC: Any signs of budget cuts or restructuring ahead?

Just looking for some insights from others at WDC. With the broader industry news, I'm starting to wonder if we're next or if there are internal signals I should be aware of. Has anyone noticed a slowdown in expense approvals, a shift in project priorities, or even just a general 'belt-tightening' mentality creeping into meetings? Management's been pretty tight-lipped, which is understandable, but it does lead to speculation. Trying to gauge if the current situation is just market-wide anxiety or if there's something more specific brewing at Western Digital that people are privy to. Any intel, however small, would be appreciated.

Been here a while and seen cycles before. While the external noise is loud, I haven't seen any major red flags internally that scream 'imminent cuts.' Expense approvals feel normal, and project roadmaps seem largely intact for now. Could be that we're weathering it better than some, or maybe the info just hasn't trickled down effectively. Keep an eye on Q3 earnings calls for any hints.

Honestly, the vibe is a bit uneasy, I'll admit. There's a noticeable caution in how new initiatives are being discussed, and some teams are definitely being asked to justify every penny. It's not a full-blown panic, but the 'business as usual' facade is definitely showing some cracks. Might be prudent to focus on high-impact, essential tasks and keep your resume polished, just in case.
