Hey all, been with WDC for a few years now and lately, the air feels... tense. No official word, of course, but there's a definite buzz. Been seeing some projects scaled back, and a few people in my extended network have moved on rather quietly. I'm trying not to panic, but the general tech layoff news out there isn't helping my peace of mind. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on the same things, or if it's just me overthinking things in this economic climate. Are you hearing anything from your managers, or seeing any subtle signs on the ground? Curious about the general mood across different departments.

Yeah, I've been feeling it too. Been with the company a while and things definitely feel different lately. There's a palpable shift, and while nothing's been said officially, the whispers are hard to ignore. Seeing some reorganization and hearing about departures definitely puts you on edge. It's tough to stay positive when the wider industry is so uncertain, but hopefully, we can all navigate this period. It's good to know I'm not the only one sensing these changes.
