WDC: Layoff rumors? Or just general anxiety?

Okay, I'm going to throw this out there, even though there's no official word. Lately, there's been a palpable shift in the air. The usual chatter about projects and deadlines feels... different. More hushed tones, more people looking over their shoulders. Is it just me, or are others picking up on an increased level of anxiety? I haven't seen any official announcements or even credible leaks, but the *feeling* is there. Maybe it's just the lingering effect of all the other tech layoffs making everyone jumpy. But has anyone heard anything concrete, even unofficial rumors? Or are we all just collectively feeling the economic pressure and projecting it onto WDC? Curious to hear if anyone else is feeling this or if I'm just being paranoid.

I've been at WDC for a while, and while I haven't heard direct layoff rumors, I can definitely relate to the heightened anxiety. There's a certain tension that's hard to ignore, and it's not just you. It feels like everyone's a bit on edge, even if we can't pinpoint the exact cause. It’s probably a mix of what’s happening in the broader tech industry and whatever internal shifts are happening at WD. Hopefully, it's just a period of uncertainty and not something more serious.
