Anyone else at Williams feeling the pressure?

Been with WMB for a few years now, and lately, the vibe in the office, and honestly across Slack, feels… tense. We haven't had any official word, no big announcements, but there's this undercurrent of 'what if.' Been seeing a lot more managers in meetings, budget discussions seem a bit tighter, and there's just less chatter about new projects. I know the energy sector is always a bit cyclical, but this feels different. Anyone else picking up on this? Wondering if it's just my department or if it's a company-wide thing. Trying not to spiral, but it's hard when the water cooler talk is all whispers and worried glances. Any insights from others at WMB or in similar energy companies would be appreciated. Just trying to gauge the temperature.

I hear you. It’s definitely a strange atmosphere lately. Lots of whispers and a feeling that something's shifting, even if no one's saying it outright. The focus seems to have narrowed considerably, and you can feel the caution in every decision. It's making it hard to stay motivated when you're not sure what the future holds, or even what the priorities are supposed to be. Hope we get some clarity soon.

Yeah, the energy in the office has changed. It feels like everyone's holding their breath a bit. Saw some reorganizations in other departments that were pretty quiet, and it does make you wonder. Budgets are definitely tighter, and new initiatives seem to be on ice. It’s a tough environment when you’re used to growth and forward momentum, and now it feels like we’re just… treading water.
