Savannah facility closure: Any word on severance?

Just saw the WARN notice for the 110 Brampton Road site. 68 people getting cut on leap day is a brutal way to end the month. Does anyone know if they are offering the standard package or if things have tightened up? I have friends over in the midstream side who are worried this is just the tip of the iceberg for the GA assets. The silence from management is deafening as usual. It’s always ‘operational efficiency’ until you’re the one packing a cardboard box. If you were impacted by the Savannah reduction, please chime in. Trying to gauge if this is a localized restructuring or if we should be bracing for a wider wave across other hubs before Q2 hits. Stay safe out there everyone.

I was caught in a previous reduction at Williams and the package was standard, though don't hold your breath for any transparency from leadership. They usually keep things buttoned up tight until the very last second to avoid internal friction. If you're affected, check your internal severance policy documentation immediately—it’s usually tied to your years of service. It’s a rough situation, and my heart goes out to everyone at Brampton Road. Management rarely treats these departures with the dignity employees deserve, so focus on getting your documentation in order before the access is cut off.

That site closure is honestly a shocker, even with all the talk about 'optimizing the portfolio' lately. I’ve heard whispers that the midstream shifts are part of a broader consolidation effort, which is clearly creating a lot of anxiety across the region. Don't expect any direct answers from the brass; they view these moves as strictly budgetary numbers rather than human lives. I’d strongly advise those impacted to start looking at their benefits packages now and reach out to local labor contacts. Stay proactive with your network while you still have internal access to your data and contacts.
