WMB - Seems like hiring freeze is on?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing a significant slowdown in hiring at Williams? I've been keeping an eye on open roles in my department and also talking to folks in other areas, and it feels like things have really dried up over the last couple of months. Used to be new positions popping up pretty regularly, but now it's sparse. Is this just a seasonal thing, or is anyone else hearing whispers about a hiring freeze or even potential headcount reductions down the line? Trying not to panic, but the silence is a bit unnerving. Anyone have any insights or have heard anything concrete from management or HR about the current hiring landscape at WMB? Appreciate any info, thanks.

Yeah, I've noticed something similar. A few roles I was tracking haven't moved in weeks, and the usual churn seems to have stopped. It's definitely quieter than it was even a few months ago. Could be a broader economic caution kicking in, or maybe just a strategic pause to assess things. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and not indicative of deeper issues.

I haven't heard any official word about a hiring freeze, but the silence on new openings is definitely noticeable. It feels like a significant shift from earlier in the year. I'm also wondering if it's a sign of what's to come. Time will tell, but it's a valid observation to be making right now given the current landscape.
