Anyone else noticing the shift in management tone?

Is it just me, or has the vibe in the back of house become noticeably colder over the last three weeks? I’ve been with Wynn for a few years now, and the current atmosphere feels different than the usual corporate ebb and flow. I’ve heard whispers about 'right-sizing' initiatives circulating in some of the upper-level meetings, though nothing official has hit the internal portal yet. My manager keeps dodging questions about budget projections for Q4, and the constant emphasis on 'efficiency' without actual resources is starting to wear everyone thin. I’m honestly just trying to gauge if I should be polishing my resume or if this is just standard tightening before the next big promotion cycle. Has anyone else picked up on anything concrete, or are we all just collectively bracing for impact without any real info?

It’s definitely not just you. The mood on the floor has been tense for weeks, and the constant talk about 'efficiency' is usually just corporate speak for cutting headcount. When management starts dodging budget questions, it’s a red flag that they’re preparing for a rough quarter. Just keep your head down, update your resume, and don't get too attached to current project timelines. Everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop at this point.
