Following up on the Tewksbury news. It looks like the actual separation date is December 2nd, which is a brutal way to head into the holidays. For those who were unfortunately caught up in this round, have you received your severance documentation yet? I’m curious if they’re offering the standard 'weeks per year of service' or if there’s a lump sum tied to a waiver. I’ve been through a re-org before, and they usually try to get you to sign your rights away within 48 hours. Don't be pressured. Make sure you read the fine print regarding your RSUs and health benefits. If anyone is willing to share the general terms (without doxxing yourself), it would be a huge help to those of us who are worried about being next on the chopping block. Stay strong, everyone. This company isn't what it used to be.

I haven't seen anything official hit my inbox yet, and the silence is honestly the worst part. My manager was incredibly vague during the meeting, so I'm expecting the documentation to be messy. Whatever you do, don't rush into signing anything they send over. I’ve reached out to a local employment lawyer just to have them look over the waiver once it arrives. It's a disgusting time of year for them to pull this, especially with how hard we've all been working to hit those Q4 targets.

Check your junk folder, sometimes these HR packets get flagged by the automated systems. Based on what a few others in the department are saying, they are pushing the standard formula, but it’s definitely on the lower end compared to the last round of cuts. It’s infuriating that they didn't provide clear answers on the benefits continuation during the call. Take the time to actually read the fine print before clicking any 'accept' buttons. No one should feel forced to sign away their rights just to get through the holiday season.
