Tewksbury site closure: Is the writing on the wall for other offices?

Just saw the official WARN notice hit for Tewksbury. It’s always the same script—they frame it as 'optimizing our footprint' or 'strategic consolidation,' but we all know it’s just about hitting those Q4 numbers for Wall Street. I’m at a different site, but morale has been in the gutter for months. Does anyone know if this is limited to the Massachusetts operation, or are they planning to do this to the mid-Atlantic hubs too? The silence from leadership is deafening, as usual. We get these generic emails about 'innovation' and 'operational excellence' while people are literally losing their livelihoods. If you’re at another location, have you heard any rumblings from middle management, or are they keeping us completely in the dark until the meeting invites pop up on our calendars? Really trying to decide if I should start updating the resume this weekend or if I’m just being paranoid.

The Tewksbury news is just the tip of the iceberg. Management loves to hide behind 'strategic restructuring' buzzwords while everyone else watches their job security vanish. If you think the mid-Atlantic hubs are safe, you’re kidding yourself. Once they start cutting, they don't stop until the balance sheet looks pretty for the shareholders. The lack of transparency from the top is exactly why nobody trusts a word they say anymore. Keep your resume updated and your head on a swivel because no one is safe in this environment.

I've been hearing rumors about the mid-Atlantic offices for weeks now, and this WARN notice pretty much confirms the worst. It’s a classic corporate play—slash the workforce to prop up the stock price right before the end of the year. Honestly, it’s demoralizing watching good people get pushed out just to satisfy a bunch of suits on Wall Street. Don't expect any straight answers from leadership, either. They’ll keep quiet until the very last minute to prevent a mass exodus. Start networking now while you still have the leverage.
