Xylem: Anyone else seeing hiring freezes?

Is it just me, or has Xylem pretty much slammed the brakes on hiring? Applied for a few roles internally and externally over the last couple of months, and crickets. Usually, there's at least some movement, even if it's slow. Now, it feels like every req is on permanent hold. My team is already stretched thin, and we were expecting backfills that are now apparently 'under review.' Coupled with the general quietness from management about future projects, it’s making me nervous. Anyone in other divisions seeing this too? Feels like the precursor to something bigger, and not in a good way. Wondering if it's worth starting to polish up the resume again, even without any official word.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing. Applied for a couple of positions a few weeks back, one internal and one external, and haven't heard a peep. It's definitely a change from how things were even six months ago when there seemed to be consistent movement on openings. My department is definitely feeling the strain with current staff, and we've had critical roles go unfilled for ages. The lack of clear communication about what's happening with hiring is unsettling, especially when workload continues to climb. Hopefully, it's a temporary pause.
