September 30th notice - anyone else caught in the wave?

Just saw the official WARN notice hit for Louisville today regarding those 91 cuts. The effective date says May, which feels weirdly retroactive or maybe they’ve been sitting on the paperwork for a while. I’m currently staring at my email waiting for the inevitable invite to a meeting that could have been an email. Is anyone else in the corporate offices actually getting clear info? My manager is being incredibly vague and keeps saying 'restructuring' every time I ask about the stability of our department. It’s exhausting to go into the office every day wondering if I’m going to be tapped on the shoulder. If you were part of this latest round, are they offering decent severance, or are they playing hardball? Just trying to gauge if I should start burning my PTO now or wait it out for a package. Stay strong everyone.

The communication has been abysmal across the board. I’m in the same boat; my lead keeps parroting the 'restructuring' line, but it’s obvious that nobody actually knows what’s going on at the leadership level. The retroactivity on that WARN notice is bizarre and frankly just adds to the anxiety. If you haven't heard anything yet, don't assume you're safe. I’ve started updating my resume just in case, because waiting for a calendar invite feels like waiting for a guillotine to drop. Good luck to everyone stuck in this limbo.

It’s wild how they handle these things. I went through a similar process at a previous firm, and the 'vague manager' routine is standard operating procedure to keep us working until the last second. If the notice is already public, the decisions were likely made months ago, and they’re just doing the messy administrative work now. Keep your head down, save copies of your performance reviews, and don't trust the internal 'stability' talk for a second. We’re all just numbers on a spreadsheet to these people.
