Yum! Brands - Project delays and budget freezes?

So, I've noticed a definite slowdown on a couple of my key projects recently. Deadlines are slipping, and there seems to be a general pause on approving any new discretionary spending or initiatives. My manager is being pretty tight-lipped, just saying 'we're re-evaluating priorities.' It feels like a prelude to something, and honestly, it's creating a lot of stress for the team. We were all geared up to hit Q4 hard, but now it feels like we're just treading water. Anyone else seeing this kind of freeze on projects or budgets? Makes me wonder if there's some internal restructuring or cost-cutting on the horizon that isn't being communicated. It’s frustrating to be in the dark like this, especially when it impacts our work and potentially our job security.

Yeah, I'm seeing something similar. It feels like there's a general belt-tightening happening across the board. My department's been told to hold off on any new software purchases, even those we've been planning for months. It's frustrating because it directly impacts our ability to be efficient. I'm hoping it's just a temporary thing to weather some economic uncertainty, but the lack of clear communication is definitely making people nervous. We're all just trying to do our jobs, but these roadblocks make it tough.
