YUM! Brands: Anyone else feeling the unease?

Hey everyone, been with Yum! for a few years now and lately, the vibe has been a bit… off. Not hearing any official whispers, but you can just feel the tension in certain departments. We've seen some reorganizations and a few key people leaving unexpectedly. I've also noticed hiring freezes in some areas that were previously buzzing with activity. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on the same signals or if I'm just being overly paranoid. The market's crazy right now, and frankly, it's making me a little anxious about my own role. Trying to stay positive but also want to be realistic. Anyone else in a similar boat or have insights into what might be brewing?

I hear you. It's definitely a strange time. I've noticed some of the same things – subtle shifts in communication, projects being put on hold, and a general sense of caution that wasn't there before. It's hard to pinpoint, but that 'unease' is palpable. Trying to stay focused on my own work, but it's tough not to get caught up in the speculation when the atmosphere feels so charged.

Interesting post. I can't say I've felt specific 'tension' in my department, but I've definitely observed the hiring freezes and some reassignments. It makes you wonder what the bigger picture is.
