Been hearing whispers about budget cuts and a general tightening of the belt across a few departments. Is anyone else noticing this? Are projects being shelved, or is it more about hiring freezes and general caution? My team hasn't had any direct announcements, but the overall atmosphere feels a bit more... guarded than usual. Yeah, I've felt a shift too. It's not just your department. There's definitely a sense of being more deliberate with resources and approvals lately. Less 'move fast and break things' and more 'think carefully before you spend.' Heard a few things about some initiatives being paused, but nothing concrete on major project shelving. Hiring does seem to be on a tighter leash across the board, though. It's making planning a bit more challenging.
