I've noticed the same sort of undercurrent. While nothing concrete has been said, the shift in focus towards efficiency and resource optimization is palpable. Project timelines seem to be under more scrutiny, and there's definitely a sense that we need to be more judicious with our spending. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as it could lead to a stronger, more focused company, but the uncertainty is definitely a factor.
Interesting to hear others are feeling it too. My sense is that the market is just more competitive than it used to be, and Zebra, like many companies, is adjusting its strategy to maintain its edge. The 'streamlining' talk could just be standard business practice in a dynamic industry. I'm trying to stay optimistic and focus on delivering quality work, but the whispers do make you wonder what the long-term plan really is.
