WFH policy changes at Zimmer Biomet - harbinger of something more?

So, the recent push for more in-office time at ZB has been… a topic of conversation, to say the least. I get the rationale from a management perspective, but it feels like a significant shift. Is anyone else seeing this as potentially a precursor to something bigger, like restructuring or, dare I say it, layoffs? Sometimes these policy shifts are used as a way to 'shake things up' before more drastic measures are taken. Especially if they want to streamline operations or consolidate teams. I'm in a support function, and while my immediate team hasn't seen any direct impacts, the atmosphere has definitely changed. Curious if others in different departments are experiencing similar shifts or have heard any chatter that might connect these dots. It's hard not to read into these things when the market is already a bit shaky.
