Anyone else feeling the pressure? What's the vibe at Zoetis?

Been with Zoetis for about 5 years now, in the commercial side. Lately, the energy just feels... off. Meetings are way more serious, budgets are being scrutinized like crazy, and there's a lot of 'strategic realignment' talk. My manager is being super cagey, and skip-level meetings are mostly just platitudes about 'adapting to the market'. Is anyone else in R&D or Manufacturing seeing similar things? Or is it just sales and marketing feeling the pinch? Trying to gauge if this is company-wide or if my specific division is in the crosshairs. Honestly, just looking for some confirmation or a reality check. Feels like we're all holding our breath.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling that on the manufacturing side. We've had a few rounds of 'efficiency reviews' and some projects have been put on hold indefinitely. The 'strategic realignment' buzzword is everywhere, and honestly, it feels like cost-cutting disguised as progress. My team's morale is taking a hit too, with everyone wondering what 'realignment' actually means for their roles. It's not just commercial, seems like it's trickling down everywhere.

From R&D, it's a bit different, but still not exactly sunshine and rainbows. We're seeing longer approval cycles for new initiatives and more emphasis on projects with very clear, near-term ROI. The 'adapting to the market' line is definitely a go-to for leadership when asked about the slowdown. It's understandable given the economic climate, but the lack of clear communication is making everyone anxious. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase of belt-tightening.
