Zoetis - Is anyone else noticing a hiring slowdown?

Hi all, I've been keeping an eye on openings at Zoetis for my team and for roles within my network. Over the last few months, it feels like the pace has really slowed down. Fewer requisitions are being posted, and some roles that were open for a while seem to have gone quiet. It's not a full stop, but definitely a noticeable decrease in hiring activity compared to, say, a year ago. I haven't heard anything official about layoffs or major restructuring, but this hiring slowdown has me wondering what's going on behind the scenes. Is this a company-wide trend, or specific to certain departments? Curious to hear if others in different areas of Zoetis are seeing the same thing. Trying to understand if this is just a seasonal dip or something more significant.

I've seen similar trends across the industry, not just at Zoetis. It feels like many companies are taking a more cautious approach to hiring right now. Budgets might be tighter, or they're reassessing their needs given the current economic climate. It's definitely a shift from the rapid expansion we saw a couple of years ago. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase and things will pick up again soon for everyone looking.

Interesting observation. I work in a related field and have also noticed a general cooling in the job market, particularly for more specialized roles. While I haven't directly applied to Zoetis recently, my recruiters have mentioned that some large pharma and biotech firms are definitely being more selective. It could be a combination of factors – market correction, strategic shifts, or just a natural lull. Keep an eye on their careers page; sometimes things can change quickly.
