Zoetis - Potential impact of Q3 earnings on workforce?

Just read through the Q3 earnings report for Zoetis. While the numbers look decent overall, there were some comments about navigating a 'challenging macroeconomic environment' and focusing on 'operational efficiencies.' This always makes me a little nervous, as 'operational efficiencies' can sometimes be code for headcount reductions down the line. Has anyone on the inside felt any pressure or seen any signs that might suggest a workforce review is coming? Maybe slower project approvals, more scrutiny on expenses, or even just a general sense of 'wait and see' from leadership? Wondering if this earnings call is just standard corporate speak or if there's something more to read into it for those of us working at ZTS. Anyone else pick up on this?

It's understandable why 'operational efficiencies' can raise concerns, especially after a quarterly report. I haven't heard any direct whispers about impending layoffs, but I have noticed a general increase in scrutiny on project budgets and a slight slowdown in approvals for non-essential initiatives. It feels like the company is being more cautious with its spending across the board. Keep an eye on internal communications and project pipeline updates; those are often the first indicators of a shift in resource allocation.
