Anyone else notice a halt in hiring for non-essential roles?

Hey everyone, has anyone else picked up on the fact that it seems like they've put the brakes on hiring for a lot of roles that aren't directly tied to product development or critical infrastructure? I've been seeing a lot of positions get put on hold or just disappear from the careers page. My team's been trying to fill a couple of spots for a while now, and we keep getting the runaround. It's not just us, either. I've chatted with a few folks in other departments, and they're seeing the same thing. It feels like a pretty clear sign that budgets are being tightened up, even if there haven't been any official announcements. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is if they're not bringing in new talent for support functions. Anyone have any insights or hearing similar things?
