Feels like every other week there's a new deep dive into some project, usually one that's already underway and doing fine. The level of scrutiny is intense, and the questions are often about 'resource allocation' and 'efficiency gains'. It's making it really hard to actually *do* the work when so much time is spent preparing for these reviews or defending the current approach. Honestly, it feels like a way to identify areas to cut without explicitly saying so. Anyone else drowning in PowerPoint decks and justification documents for projects that were approved months ago?
