Is anyone else noticing a significant increase in workload without additional support?

Lately, it feels like everyone is being asked to do more with less. My team is stretched so thin, and I'm seeing people burn out right before my eyes. We're missing deadlines that used to be a cakewalk, and the pressure is immense. It's not just my department either; I've heard similar stories from colleagues in other areas. Is this a company-wide push or just a localized issue? Management keeps talking about efficiency, but it feels more like we're just drowning. Anyone else experiencing this overload? How are you coping?

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing here at Abbott. It's definitely not just your team. We've had multiple projects get pushed back because there simply aren't enough hands on deck. Management's focus on 'streamlining' feels like a thinly veiled excuse to cut corners and expect the same output. It's exhausting and frankly, demoralizing. People are already talking about looking elsewhere if things don't change soon. Solidarity to you and your team.

While I understand the frustration, are we sure it's solely a 'lack of support' issue? Abbott has been undergoing some restructuring, and perhaps the efficiency drives are meant to adapt to those changes. It might be worth digging into *why* certain processes are inefficient rather than just assuming it's understaffing. Sometimes, better organization and prioritizing tasks can alleviate some of the pressure, even without new hires.
