Quiet 'efficiency drives' or something more serious?

0x7036…5650Lately, it feels like there's a lot of talk about 'optimizing processes' and 'driving efficiency' across the board. We've had a few town halls where leadership emphasizes the need to be leaner and more agile. It's not direct talk of layoffs, but the language feels... pointed. People are being asked to volunteer for 'cross-functional efficiency teams' and there's a lot of focus on reducing duplication of effort. It makes you wonder if this is just standard corporate speak for improving operations, or if it's the precursor to some workforce adjustments. Anyone else getting this vibe? Feels like we're being prepped for something without being told directly what it is.
