Seeing a lot of internal transfers/realignments lately?

Is it just me, or has there been a noticeable uptick in internal movements and role realignments across Abbott lately? I've seen several colleagues switch departments or have their responsibilities significantly altered in the last few months. It's not always framed as a 'promotion' or a 'new opportunity,' sometimes it feels more like a reshuffling. I'm wondering if this is a strategic move to optimize talent or if it's a precursor to something else. With all the talk about efficiency and focusing on core areas, it's hard not to connect the dots and wonder if some of these moves are a way to quietly adjust headcount or skillsets without making big, splashy announcements. Anyone else experiencing this in their teams or hearing similar stories?

I've noticed it too. It feels like they're trying to be more agile and adaptable, shifting resources where they see the biggest need or potential. Some of these moves might be good for individuals looking for new challenges, but I agree, the framing isn't always clear. Hopefully, it leads to better outcomes for the company and employees in the long run, rather than just making people feel like they're constantly in flux.
