Just saw the WARN notices hit for the October 11th cuts. They’re claiming it’s a localized 'reorg' at Building B and the Alton Parkway office, but honestly, who even believes that anymore? It feels like death by a thousand cuts at this point. I’ve been here since before the MSFT acquisition, and the culture shift is just depressing. Every time we think the dust has finally settled, another memo drops or we see security walking people out. I’m tired of looking over my shoulder every time my manager schedules an 'alignment sync' on my calendar. For those affected today, I’m truly sorry. Does anyone have any actual intel on whether this is the last of the Q4 trimming, or are we expecting another round before the holidays? Trying to decide if it’s time to update the resume and jump ship before I’m the next one on the list.

It is honestly exhausting to watch. I remember when this place felt like a titan of the industry, but now it just feels like a revolving door of layoffs and corporate buzzwords. Every time there is a 'reorganization,' the talent drains out, and the products suffer. You are not alone in feeling this way; the vibe has been off for a long time. Take care of yourself, update that resume, and keep your head up. This company clearly doesn't value the people who built its legacy anymore.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. The uncertainty is the worst part—it’s like a permanent state of anxiety just waiting for the next round of bad news. If you’re at that point where you’re looking over your shoulder, start putting your feelers out now. No job is worth your mental health. These companies are just cold, calculated machines these days, and your loyalty will unfortunately never be reciprocated. Get out while you can and find a team that actually respects your contributions.
