I've been through a few of these cycles. Honestly, it's always unsettling. The 're-assigned' thing is a classic sign. Start updating your resume and networking, just in case. Even if nothing happens, it's good practice. Don't panic, but be prepared. Document everything you've worked on and contributed to, makes it easier to show your value if things get dicey. Hope it's nothing, though!
Nah, you're probably just overreacting. Every big company has internal projects that get the axe. Marketing always feels the pinch during budget reviews, it's the nature of the beast. Diablo is a cash cow, they're not going to kneecap that franchise. Remember all the doom and gloom around Overwatch 2? Turned out alright. Just breathe and focus on your work. Panicking won't help anything.
