Performance reviews feeling way more intense than usual

This time, my manager was digging *deep* into every single project, asking for detailed metrics on my contributions, and essentially trying to quantify my value down to the dollar. It felt less like a review and more like they were building a case for something. I know there's been a lot of chatter about restructuring and potential cuts, especially with the Microsoft acquisition settling in. Just wondering if anyone else's reviews felt like they were being put under a microscope like this? Makes you wonder what the criteria for 'essential' is going to be.
