Seriously, enough with the 'synergy' talk!

I'm so sick of hearing the word 'synergy' from management. Every meeting is just a bunch of corporate buzzwords and empty promises about how we're all 'one big family' now that Microsoft's in charge. Meanwhile, people are being quietly reassigned, projects are getting canceled, and no one seems to know what's actually going on. If they're planning layoffs, just be upfront about it! The constant uncertainty is way more stressful than just knowing where you stand. Honestly, the whole thing feels like a bad joke. I've put 10 years into this company, and this is how they treat us? It's infuriating.

Totally get it. The 'synergy' thing is corporate speak for 'we're figuring things out, and some of you might not fit'. I've been through this before at another company. The best advice I can give is to update your resume and start networking. It's better to be prepared than to be caught off guard. Focus on what you can control and try not to get bogged down in the uncertainty.

Yeah, I'm not buying the 'one big family' line either. This is a business, not a summer camp. Microsoft didn't buy Acti-Blizz for sentimental reasons. They want to make money, and that usually means cuts somewhere. I'm reserving judgment until I see actual changes, but my expectations are pretty low. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
