AMD - Anyone else feel the job security vibe lately?

Hey all, been seeing a lot of chatter, both here and elsewhere, about potential layoffs at AMD. Nothing concrete yet, which is kind of the worst part, right? The uncertainty. My team's been feeling it a bit too. Workload feels... a little off. Some projects seem to be slowing down, others are getting shuffled. I know the market's been up and down for the whole semiconductor industry, especially with the PC side of things. But it's hard not to get a little antsy when you hear rumors, even if they're just rumors. Has anyone experienced anything similar on their teams? Any managers dropping hints, or any unusual project reprioritizations happening that might signal something? Just trying to gauge if it's a company-wide thing or just my specific corner. Hoping for the best, but preparing for... well, you know.

Totally. The 'radio silence' can be worse than actual bad news sometimes. It leaves so much room for speculation. I've noticed some changes in project focus within my department, and it's definitely led to some water cooler talk about what it all means for headcount down the line. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary market adjustment.
