AMD - Anyone else feeling the squeeze? Resource cuts coming?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of noise internally lately about 'streamlining' and 'optimizing' our workflows. My manager's been pretty cagey, but the vibe is definitely off. We're being asked to justify every expense, and some projects that seemed solid are suddenly on indefinite hold. Feels like they're clearing the decks for something, and given the market, layoffs are the first thing that comes to mind. Has anyone else's department been subjected to these 'efficiency drives'? Are you hearing any specifics, or is it just this general sense of unease across the board? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a particularly scrutinized division. Any intel would be appreciated.
