Been reading some older threads about layoffs targeting engineering specifically. With the recent push into new markets and product lines, I'm surprised if there's talk of reductions. Is anyone in the hardware/software engineering side of AMD feeling any pressure or seeing signs of restructuring? It’s always a tough time when these rumors start circulating, especially if you're in a role that's seen movement in the past. Honestly, I haven't heard anything concrete about RIFs specifically targeting engineering at AMD. The company seems pretty focused on ramping up production for new CPUs and GPUs, which usually means more, not fewer, engineers.
