Anyone else feeling uneasy? Q3 performance...

I'm in marketing, been at AMD for 5 years. Seeing the Q3 numbers, I can't shake this feeling that something's gotta give. Revenue targets seem way off, and there's been this weird silence from leadership. My skip-level keeps saying everything's fine, but his body language is screaming otherwise. Anyone else feeling the same? Or am I just being paranoid? Specifically concerned about projects being put on hold and hiring freezes expanding. Makes me think a reorg, or worse, is coming.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. In engineering, and the vibe is definitely off. They keep pushing 'record low power consumption' as a win, but it feels like a consolation prize when the performance isn't there. My projects seem to be getting less resources and more scrutiny. The worst part is the lack of transparency. Leadership needs to address the elephant in the room instead of pretending everything's sunshine and roses. Layoffs are never fun, but the uncertainty is even worse.

Honestly, take everything with a grain of salt. 'Weird silence' and 'body language' are hardly reliable indicators. Every company has good quarters and bad quarters. AMD has been killing it for the last few years, so a slight dip isn't necessarily a catastrophe. Start polishing your resume if it makes you sleep better at night, but don't jump to conclusions based on office gossip. Focus on your work, document your accomplishments, and be ready for anything.
