ADI - Anyone else feeling the pressure lately?

Hey ADI folks. Been working here for a few years and honestly, things have felt a bit tense the last couple of quarters. The market's obviously been a rollercoaster for semis, and while we haven't heard anything concrete about layoffs, the vibe has definitely shifted. Projects seem to have tighter deadlines, and there's a lot more talk about efficiency and "streamlining operations." Does anyone else get this feeling? Is it just my department, or is this a broader ADI thing? Just trying to gauge the temperature before the next all-hands. Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, even whispers. Trying not to spiral, but it's hard not to when the industry news is so volatile.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the increased pressure. It feels like there's a lot more scrutiny on project timelines and resource allocation than there used to be. Management seems to be emphasizing cost-saving measures more frequently in internal communications, which can be a bit unsettling. While I haven't experienced any direct impacts in my team yet, the general atmosphere does seem to have tightened up considerably over the past few months. Hoping it's just a temporary phase tied to market fluctuations.

I hear you. It's not just your department. There's a palpable shift in the air across ADI. Deadlines are definitely more aggressive, and the constant talk about optimization and efficiency makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. It's hard not to feel the strain when you're constantly being pushed to do more with less. Hopefully, leadership will provide more clarity soon on the strategic direction and how these changes will ultimately benefit the company and its employees.
