ADI - Anyone else seeing hiring freezes or slowed ramp-ups?

Hey folks, been with ADI for a few years now. Lately, I've noticed a significant slowdown in hiring for several teams, and some projects that were supposed to ramp up are feeling… stagnant. My manager's been pretty cagey when I ask about headcount and future projects, just giving vague answers about 'market conditions' and 'prioritization'. It's making me a little uneasy, to be honest. Feels like the mood in the company has shifted from steady growth to more of a 'conserve resources' vibe. Just wondering if others are picking up on the same signals across different departments. Is it just my group, or is there a broader trend happening here? Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially in R&D or product management.

I've noticed something similar. The general chatter has definitely shifted from rapid expansion to a more cautious approach. While I haven't heard any direct talk of freezes, the pace of onboarding for new roles seems to have definitely decelerated. My team's been waiting on a couple of critical positions to be filled for months now, which is impacting our project timelines. It's understandable given the economic climate, but it does create a bit of uncertainty about where we're headed long-term.

Yeah, it's not just you. The 'market conditions' excuse is becoming a common refrain. I've seen a few roles I was expecting to be posted get shelved, and the usual proactive approach to staffing seems to have been replaced with a more 'wait and see' attitude. It's a noticeable shift from even a year ago when it felt like ADI was aggressively pursuing talent. Hopefully, it's just a temporary recalibration and not a sign of deeper issues.
