With performance review season usually right around the corner, I'm wondering if anyone has heard about any potential changes to the process or the emphasis this year at ADI. Given the broader economic climate and the whispers in the industry, I'm curious if there might be a tougher stance on ratings or a more scrutinized approach to promotions and compensation adjustments. Has anyone heard any internal comms or from their managers about increased focus on specific metrics, or perhaps a more conservative approach to performance-based raises? It's the usual time of year for these discussions, but this year feels a bit different. Trying to prepare myself mentally and professionally for whatever might be coming down the pipeline. Any insights into the performance review culture or any anticipated shifts would be super helpful. Don't want to be overly paranoid, but it feels prudent to be aware of potential changes. What are your expectations?

I've been hearing similar rumblings. My manager mentioned a greater emphasis on 'impactful contributions' this year, which could translate to a higher bar for exceeding expectations. It's probably wise to proactively document your achievements and tie them directly to business objectives. Hopefully, it won't feel overly punitive, but being prepared seems like the best strategy.

From what I've gathered, the focus might be shifting towards demonstrating clear ROI for projects and individual efforts. It’s less about just doing the work and more about proving the value it brings. This is likely a company-wide trend, not specific to ADI, given the current market. Best to brush up on your accomplishments and be ready to articulate their financial or strategic benefit.
