Been at ADI for a few years now, and things have been pretty stable, but lately there's been a weird quietness. Like, hiring seems to have slowed to a crawl in my org, and I'm hearing whispers about 'efficiency reviews' and 'strategic realignment.' It's not outright layoffs, but it feels like a headcount freeze is either in effect or being seriously considered. Performance reviews are coming up, and the usual 'meet expectations' doesn't feel like it's going to cut it anymore. Anyone else in different divisions noticing the same thing? Are managers being cagey about future plans? Just trying to gauge the general sentiment before things potentially get weird.
