Anyone else feeling the pressure at Aon lately?

Been with Aon for a few years now, and honestly, the vibe has been pretty weird lately. I haven't heard any concrete rumors about layoffs, but there's definitely an underlying tension. Projects seem to be getting squeezed, resources are tighter than usual, and there's a lot of talk about 'efficiency improvements' and 'strategic realignments' in all-hands meetings. It feels like management is preparing for something, even if they're not saying it directly. Have any of you guys noticed this? Is it just my department, or is this a company-wide thing? Trying to get a sense of what's going on without causing unnecessary panic, but it's hard not to worry when the atmosphere shifts like this. Curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar unease or has any intel.

I've been feeling it too. It's that low-level hum of anxiety that just won't go away. Lots of talk about restructuring and making things 'leaner,' which always makes me a bit nervous. Hard to pinpoint exactly, but the atmosphere definitely feels more cautious than it used to. Hope it's just a phase and not a sign of bigger things to come.

Completely agree. The constant buzzwords about 'synergy' and 'optimization' are getting a bit much. It feels like we're always being pushed to do more with less, and the communication from leadership is vague at best. Makes it tough to feel secure, even if there aren't explicit layoff rumors. Just hoping things stabilize soon.
