Aon: Anyone else feeling the pressure with the new org structure?

Hey everyone, been with Aon for a few years now and lately, things just feel… different. With all the recent changes and the integration from the (failed) merger still settling, there's a weird vibe in the air. My team's workload has definitely ramped up, and it feels like we're being asked to do more with less. Leadership keeps talking about 'synergies' and 'efficiency,' but from where I'm sitting, it just means more hats for fewer people. Anyone else experiencing this? Are there talks about potential role consolidations or even outright reductions down the line? Just trying to gauge the temperature and see if I'm overthinking things or if others are feeling this too. It's hard to stay motivated when you're constantly wondering what's next. Curious to hear any insights or experiences from others navigating this.

Absolutely. The 'synergies' talk is becoming a broken record. It feels like a constant scramble to keep up, and the goalposts seem to shift every week. You're not alone. It's a lot to digest, and the constant restructuring can be exhausting. My department is feeling it too – trying to balance the new demands with existing responsibilities is proving to be a real challenge.
