Aon: Anyone else seeing changes in bonus payouts?

Hi all, Just got my annual bonus information, and frankly, I'm a bit surprised by the numbers. It seems significantly lower than what I was expecting based on my performance and the company's general profitability reports over the last year. I know bonuses are never guaranteed and can fluctuate, but this feels like a pretty substantial drop. Is this a company-wide trend, or did I just have a particularly 'off' year in the eyes of management? I'm trying to understand if this is a sign of underlying financial pressure at Aon or if it's more about individual performance metrics shifting. Has anyone else experienced a similar dip in their bonus this cycle? Curious to hear if others are seeing this or if it's just my situation. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but it's definitely a talking point. Would love to hear any similar experiences or explanations.

I'm with you on this. My bonus was also a lot less than anticipated. I've been crunching the numbers and trying to figure out where the discrepancy might be. Interesting that you brought this up. I hadn't looked too closely yet, but now that you mention it, my bonus was definitely on the lower side. I was attributing it to market conditions or something external, but if it's a broader internal issue, that's concerning. Hopefully, someone has some insight into the calculation or a general explanation.
