Just checking in to see if anyone has a better handle on the actual scope of today's layoffs. The internal messaging is vague as usual—just a bunch of 'realignment' talk and promises about focusing on core pillars. I’ve heard rumors that the support teams were gutted again to make room for more automated workflows, but the official communications are intentionally opaque. My manager didn't even have answers during our sync; they just kept parroting the company line about 'operational efficiency.' Is it just me, or is the lack of transparency getting worse with every round? If you were impacted today or know someone who was, please share what the severance terms look like—are they doing the standard 3 months or are they clawing back on that too? Stay safe out there, everyone. This company isn't what it was even two years ago.

Same here. My department lost three people this morning without any warning, and management is acting like nothing happened. The 'realignment' buzzword is just a cover for cutting costs to make the quarterly numbers look better. It’s impossible to get a straight answer, and watching good people get pushed out while being told it’s for 'operational efficiency' is demoralizing. At this point, I’m just waiting for the next round of cuts because the transparency is non-existent.
