It's definitely a tough pill to swallow when a company as profitable as Apple announces layoffs. You'd think with their resources, they could find internal solutions or redeploy staff rather than resorting to cuts. It makes you wonder about the long-term strategy and if shareholder value is truly the only driver, even at the expense of dedicated employees.
