Anyone else feeling uneasy? Hearing rumblings again...

I've been with AT&T for almost 10 years now, in a network engineering role. I remember the last "restructuring" pretty vividly, and honestly, the vibe is eerily similar right now. Lots of closed-door meetings, managers being vague about future projects, and a general sense of uncertainty. I'm not saying anything is definitely happening, but my gut is telling me to dust off my resume. Anyone else picking up on this, or am I just being paranoid? Maybe it's just the end of the quarter stress, but I can't shake this feeling. I wish they would just be transparent for once, instead of leaving us all in the dark. Makes it hard to focus on actual work.

I hear you. Been with them a little longer than you, and the pattern is always the same. They start talking about "synergy" and "optimization" and that's when you know something's up. My advice? Update your LinkedIn *now*. Even if it's nothing, it's always good to be prepared. Don't panic, but definitely be proactive. Look out for yourself.

Honestly, every quarter feels like this at AT&T. People always get jumpy around performance reviews and budget cycles. Unless you're seeing actual positions being eliminated or whole teams getting dismantled, I wouldn't stress too much. Maybe just keep an ear to the ground and see if anything concrete develops. Don't borrow trouble before it arrives.
