I feel you. It's incredibly disheartening to hear about 'efficiency' and 'optimization' when it consistently translates to job insecurity for those of us on the ground. We're the ones dealing with customers, maintaining the infrastructure, and often picking up the slack when cuts happen. The disconnect between corporate speak and our daily reality is huge. Hope this brings some positive changes for the employees, not just the bottom line.
This cycle of 'cost-cutting' feels endless. Every few years, it's the same song and dance with new buzzwords. Loyalty and hard work seem to count for less and less. It's tough to stay motivated when you see constant restructuring and fear the next wave of layoffs. We deserve transparency and a plan that prioritizes the people who actually make the company run.
