I feel this so hard. Worked there for 7 years and it was the same song and dance the whole time. Big announcements followed by radio silence. The worst was during the DirecTV acquisition. Total chaos. Honestly, start polishing your resume just in case. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. It's the only way to stay sane.
While I understand the frustration, let's be real, transparency in big corporations is a myth. They aren't *required* to tell us everything. Sometimes the uncertainty is a deliberate tactic to manage expectations or keep competitors guessing. Does it suck? Absolutely. Is it surprising? Not really. Focus on what you can control: your performance, your network, and your backup plan.
