Lately, it feels like there's a constant hum of anxiety in the air, even without official announcements. We've all seen the news cycles from the past couple of years about other companies, and even Autodesk itself, making cuts. While there's no big 'layoff' banner flying today, the smaller reorganizations, hiring freezes in some areas, and the general economic climate are making people nervous. I've personally noticed shifts in project priorities and some teams seem to be operating leaner than before. It makes you wonder what the long-term outlook is for certain roles. Is this just the new normal in tech, or are there specific headwinds affecting Autodesk right now that we should be aware of? Trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to worry about job security when the market feels so unpredictable.

I hear you. It's definitely unsettling when there's no clear communication but you can feel the tension. I've been trying to focus on my own performance and skill development, hoping that makes me a more valuable asset regardless of what happens. Staying informed through unofficial channels doesn't help the nerves, does it?

The uncertainty is a major stressor. While I appreciate that not every shake-up is a mass layoff, the subtle changes and hiring freezes do paint a picture. It makes you wonder about future growth opportunities and whether your current role is truly secure long-term. Just trying to keep my head down and do good work, but the worry is definitely there.
