I feel you. Been there, done that at another large tech company. "Long-term growth" always seems to translate to short-term pain for employees. Start documenting everything – extra hours, specific tasks, contributions that go above and beyond. It'll be invaluable when you start interviewing. Also, quietly update your resume and LinkedIn *before* you get completely burned out. It's easier to find a job when you're not desperate.
Five years is a good run. But if your salary isn't keeping up with inflation and your manager is dismissive, it's definitely time to explore other options. Have you looked at similar roles at other companies? Sometimes just seeing what's out there can give you a better sense of your worth and leverage when negotiating a new offer... or even when deciding to stay and pushing harder for a raise. Don't be afraid to shop around.
