Severance packages after the WARN notice: Any intel?

Just saw the filing for the 289 positions. It’s April 29th, so we have a few weeks of looming dread ahead of us. Does anyone know if they’re sticking to the same package structure as the last round, or have they tightened the purse strings? I’ve been here for four years and I’m trying to calculate if it’s even worth trying to finish my current sprint or if I should just focus entirely on interviewing. The atmosphere in my department is incredibly tense; it feels like nobody is actually doing any real work, we're just waiting for the calendar invite from HR. If you were hit today or got the heads up, are they offering outplacement services or is it just the bare minimum? Any insight would be appreciated. Stay strong everyone, this company has really lost its way.

I was impacted in the previous round, and the package was fairly standard—usually a few weeks of pay per year of service, plus COBRA coverage. Given the current economic climate and the specific nature of these layoffs, I wouldn't count on them being more generous than before. Honestly, stop killing yourself for the current sprint. Management already has the names on a list, and your extra effort won't change your status. Use your remaining hours to polish your resume, back up your portfolio, and reach out to your professional network. Focus on your future, not theirs.

That atmosphere is exactly why you need to protect your own mental health right now. It is genuinely depressing to watch the productivity drain, but that is the reality when leadership leaves people in limbo. My advice? Do the bare minimum to stay off the radar, but do not sacrifice your sanity for a company that is clearly cutting you loose. Spend your work day applying for roles and taking calls. They have already decided your fate, so you owe it to yourself to be ready for the next step. Good luck, and keep your head up.
