Quiet period at Berkshire? Or am I just out of the loop?

Been with Berkshire for a few years now, and things have always felt pretty stable, maybe even a bit sleepy compared to tech. But lately, it's felt *extra* quiet. Usually, there's some internal buzz about new initiatives or divisional growth, but crickets lately. Even LinkedIn seems pretty devoid of new BH roles popping up. My direct manager is also a bit tight-lipped, just saying "business as usual" when asked about future plans. It's making me a little antsy, to be honest. Is this just the Berkshire way of navigating economic uncertainty, or is something bigger brewing beneath the surface? Anyone else feeling this unusual lull?

I've been in a similar boat. It does feel unusually quiet, doesn't it? I've tried looking at the investor relations side, but even their announcements have been sparse. It's definitely a change from the usual steady hum. I'm trying to focus on my current projects and trust the process, but the lack of external noise is definitely noticeable. Maybe it's just a strategic pause before something bigger.

I wouldn't worry too much. Berkshire has always operated with a certain level of discretion, and 'business as usual' is pretty much their mantra. They aren't a company that makes a lot of fanfare. It's possible that any new initiatives are being handled very quietly internally, or perhaps the divisions are just performing well without needing major shifts. Sometimes quiet means things are running smoothly.
