Lately, it feels like my team's hiring process has completely stalled. New requisitions are moving slower than molasses, and even internal transfers are getting put on hold indefinitely. It's not just my department, either. I've heard from colleagues in other areas that they're seeing the same thing. It's making me a bit nervous, especially with all the talk about automation and efficiency driving changes in the industry. I'm wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger, or if it's just a temporary slowdown. Anyone else in a similar boat? Trying to understand if this is a company-wide trend or if I'm just in a particularly stagnant corner. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, I'm seeing it too. My group's been trying to fill a couple of critical roles for months with no luck. Requisitions are getting stuck at higher levels, and the feedback loop is practically non-existent. It's definitely creating some strain and uncertainty about where we're headed. Feels like a general tightening across the board, and it's hard not to worry about the long-term implications when key positions remain unfilled for extended periods.

I haven't noticed a hiring freeze, per se, but internal moves are definitely taking a lot longer than usual. It's like there's a reluctance to shift resources around right now. Maybe they're consolidating, or perhaps just waiting to see how the market shakes out before making big personnel decisions. It's a bit frustrating when you're looking to grow or move to a different area within the company. Hope it picks up soon.
